Jamaat-e-Islami J&K expresses its deep concern and anxiety over the supply of spurious drugs to govt. hospitals and describes it one of the most inhuman heinous crimes against Kashmiri people. Those bureaucrats, suppliers and manufacturers who are involved in this scandal deserve an exemplary punishment as the crime is in no case pardonable. These inhuman elements for monetary benefits are playing with the lives of the common masses and deserve all condemnation. Those responsible officers who are found negligent in this murky affair also deserve strong condemnation and removal from their posts of trust. The silence of those holding the reigns is meaningful and indicates the involvement of some blue-eyed high-ups. This regime has also like other past regimes proved to be totally indifferent towards the real interests of the people and their only mission and goal is to remain stuck to the chair even if the whole population vanishes from the scene. Those doctors who despite having the knowledge of these spurious drugs, keep mum for the sake of their posts are also not less responsible. Moreover, the supply and sale of spurious drugs by the local medical stores is also the most detestable heinous crime and those doctors and other medical practitioners who prescribe such medicines for monetary benefits in the form of commission and gift items are also the dreaded criminals and deserve to be dealt with sternly. The commission and gifts they receive are quite prohibited and unlawful as this practice amounts to the open bribery. The manufacturers, suppliers and prescribers of these spurious drugs are hand in glove with one another and as such are the joint enemies of the humanity and need to be exposed and given a deterrent punishment. Also those holding the reigns of the J&K Medical Supplies Corporation ltd. deserve to be immediately detained and removed from these public posts of trust.

Jamaat while strongly denouncing all these anti-human and anti-social elements involved in any activity relating to the supply of these spurious drugs, demands a thorough probe by a high level impartial commission of the medical experts of international repute for exposing this murky inhumane affair which seems to be designed for mass-murder of kashmiris mysteriously. Jamaat also condemns the meaningful criminal silence on the part of those claiming to be so-called public representatives and describes their role as shameful and regrettable.
